Our Mission

At Freeman-Cooper Mental Health & Wellness, our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our community by fostering a supportive environment for adults experiencing mental and/or chronic health conditions and improve their quality of life.

Meet Your Provider

Frieda Freeman-Cooper is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Practical Nurse with over 19 years experience in the healthcare industry.  Frieda attended the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelors in social work in 2019 and Masters in social work in 2020.  Frieda obtained her nursing education from Oklahoma Baptist University and worked as a cardiac nurse at Midwest Regional Medical Center and then a psychiatric nurse at the OKC VA before becoming a social worker with the OU Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Freeman-Cooper Mental Health & Wellness offers individual psychotherapy, virtual or in-person, with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing with Mindfulness based interventions, addressing the needs of individuals both physically and mentally for better quality of life.


People who have a chronic disease are at a higher risk of developing depression. Depression can be triggered by: Anxiety, stress, or other challenges caused by a chronic disease. Research suggests that people who have a chronic disease and depression tend to have more severe symptoms of both illnesses.

Our Philosophy

At Freeman-Cooper Mental Health & Wellness, our philosophy is centered around personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each client. We believe in taking a holistic approach to healthcare that considers the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients.

 Co-pay, if applicable, is due at the time of service. $150 session fee will be billed through your insurance (insurance will be verified before initial session). Fee of $75/hr for cash pay clients, can be negotiated on a case by case basis (fees apply for home/office visits). 

Behavioral Health Consulting Fees: $50/person/1 hr, $75/person/2 hr, $100/person/3 hr 

Group Therapy: Billed through insurance (co-pay may apply), Set fee of $25 for cash pay clients.

For clients with a diagnosis of Dementia, Memory Loss or Alzheimer's, I will come to your home, office or other designated location within the OKC metro or surrounding areas. This service is billed through insurance and has applicable fees.
